2-1/8 in deep, 4 in octagon boxes with vertical bracket fan supports and (3) 1/2 in side knockouts and (5) 1/2 in bottom knockouts are used to install ceiling lighting fixtures, fans, convenience junction boxes and devices. The brackets on these boxes have self-adhesive strips to hold boxes in place while lag bolts are installed with both hands. Additionally they come supplied with mounting hardware. Garvin Industries octagon boxes are made with a versatile combination head screw that can securely fasten a conduit to an electrical junction box using a slotted, Phillips®, or Robertson head screw driver. They also come with labor saving installation and mounting tabs that align with most lighting fixtures.
