The unique design of the splice/cover combination makes this the fastest and easiest watertight splicing solution available. The pre-greased insulating cover slides effortlessly onto the cable. After you've prepared the cable and crimped the splice, simply slide the cover back over the splice until it is positively centered and mates with the connector rib.
